Who here's got a Bat/Chillum/One-Hitter? This little guy has made a few concerts a little more enjoyable.

Ha, I was just about to make a thread about Chillums & what not...



I love em'...Portable, usually deep bowls, they cherry up nicely and hold the cherry very well :thumbup: ..




Here's mine, it's a hand me down from a friend. He gave it to me when I broke my old pipe. I was super stoked that he gave it to me, ever since the day he got it i've always liked the way it looks and the deep bowl.











I was at an underground last weekend, when this girl asked me if I had a pipe on me. So I handed her my chillum, she then proceeds to pack it damn near full of GDP bubble hash, then 1/2 way into the bowl tells me to put out my hand, hands me some more hash and tells me to pack that as well...I had taken a wee bit over 100mg of MDMA, so needless to say after that bowl of hash and a half i was puddled. Just wanted to sit and feel good...



I haven't cleaned it in about a year, it's super gooey inside, with a bit of DMT resin mixed in as well hehe..

Yea, glad Arny signed that bill....



It's not that common to be fined if you have bud on you, each time me and my friends have been caught up with bud on us the cops just tell us to dump it out.




But at least now it's not a misdemeanor :shrug: ...




I'm still kinda on the fence with prop 19 though...I mean it's virtually legal as it is.

Exactly. Most stoners here have their recommendation to use cannabis signed by a doctor. We've been able to grow and smoke with no problem for a long time now. Prop 19 will get the government involved with regulating and taxing cannabis. I liked the direction things were going before prop 19 but when it comes down to it I'm all about freedom so even if it does pass I'm sure it will open up new opportunities for good things to happen. Everything happens for a reason and I'm down to go with the flow.

I know, i'm leaning towards yes.


The one thing I like about 19 is that it allows me to have my own personal garden "legally"


Other than that not much is going to change for my self, well i suppose the cops won't be able to tell me to dump out my weed anymore :thumbup: .





It's just that I'm curious what's going to happen to legit medical patients and growers, is prop-19 going to stand above 215?






But i guess we will see what happens :shrug:...

my point is that legalization will make very little difference to people who already have access to medical marijuana

might the economics or bureaucracy of medical marijuana change slightly?
yes, they probably will
but patients will still have access

Yes and the fact is just about everyone who loves to smoke pot in California has been a medical marijuana patient for a very long time.

there's limits on what you can grow, it has to be prescribed by a
doctard, it has to be sold by licensed dispensaries and everything
associated with it regardless of whether you grow, distribute or
consume, it's all taxed

Marijuana is a schedule 1 substance no doctor anywhere in America can prescribe it.

this is quite simply false
you're talking to a californian here
i have a single friend with a green card, out of easily 90 acquaintances who smoke pot

could we get green cards if we wanted?
possibly, but i'd rather not participate in making a mockery out of this already dubious "medical" system

also, why do you feel it's okay that the only legal access to weed comes in the form of abusing a loophole?
is that really your highest hope for the status of marijuana in our culture?

How is it a loophole? Everyone I know has their rec for a legitimate reason. Cannabis is legitimately recommended for all kinds of shit. Get depressed sometimes? Have trouble falling asleep sometimes? Have an ache or pain? Here have some cannabis.

i do not need cannabis to treat any condition
i am a healthy person and i get along fine whether i smoke it or not
could i come up with some excuse to get a card?
yes, in fact i have one ready (full disclosure: i am going to make a doctor's appointment for the day after the election, and if 19 fails, i'm going to go in and get a green card for asthma)

but i should not have to resort to such a scheme in order to smoke marijuana without legal harassment
why are you satisfied with this notion that we need an EXCUSE to smoke marijuana?

i have a right to ingest what i please, and frankly i find it offensive that i need to go gather some permission slip before i'm allowed to smoke cannabis
