Kids, Don't use gladware
    #5117170 -

Well, overall my first casing was good, I had a decent number of pins and they are still growing, however, there were a couple of unexpected prizes. I know I know, i'm a dumbass, I really didn't even think about it all that much, but hey, lesson learned.

heh, no biggie there, that happens to everyone.  If just a bit of light gets down the sides its enough to cause mushies to form.  Ive cleaned off an entire casing only to take it out of the tray and pick mushies off the BOTTOM of the casing.

Either way you have fruits, cant be too upset about that!

i to have had this happen, only i was using a purple rubbermaid tub. its sat upon a shelf the also held the fluerecent light for the shelf below. i couldnt figure out why my pinset was so weak and staggered. i t looked and smelled healthy other than that. eventually i noticed the substrate was RAIZING UP more than an inch above its original level. anomilies will be anomilies, i let it be until i saw contam on the casing. i took it to the bath tub to see what i could do about the contam... upon closer inspection i found one of the better harvests ive had. it was all curled up like and afro and more thick than an IDE  hard drive. ive since been painting the bottom half of my tubs.

20 seconds and some foil. I like the clear containers myself cause if something contams you can take it out of the foil and check and find the contam before it gets to the surface of the casing and into open air.
