How to make a vapor bros. style vaporizer?

I realized that I might know exactly how to make a vaporizer much akin to the vapor bros. I am not entirely certain, but I beleive I could use the following parts:

~Entire car cigarette lighter assembly (male and female parts) -buy at automotive store
~Dimmer-switch or similar assembly. whatever radio shack has
~Standard on/off switch
~DC converter
~Particle board
~ingenuity
~patience

I had thought about seeing if I could find a schematic registered with the patent office, but I dont want the hassle.

What does everyone think? am I insane?

I may be mistaken, but don't Vapor Brothers vapes use hot air instead of a heated metal element?

Well there are vapes that you sit the herb on the heating element and it heats up. Some that just sit real close to the heating element no direct contact and heat air gun type ones.

the vapor brothers uses a heating element from a soldering iron.

problem is, I've never been able to find the proper element (it has to be hollow so air can pass through)

Find someone who can machine one for you. Should be cheap enough.

meh.  when my element burns out, I can send it back to vaporbrothers and they'll replace the element for like $20.  I've done this before. 

vaporbrothers = highly recommended :thumbup:

Its so choice.  If you ever have the means, I highly recommend you pick one up :smile:

are vaporizers really that great? i dont know as ive never tryed one btw u are talkn about weed smoken right cause, ive heard/read that due to the limited temp. that it doesnt get u as high b/c it doesnt activate the thc or some crap like that, dont really beleive it just heard it b4. is it as good/same high as a bowl or a blunt?

not only is it a better high (IMO), its actually more efficient, better tasting, healthier, and there is no smell.

but still, I do break out the juicy jays and the bubbler on occaision... but really only for the sake of variety. I wish I had discovered vaporizers earlier: I might have more lung capacity today!

well what I was thinking was just getting a good source of radiant heat and then improvising the whip, which wouldn't be too tricky.

Turn it on with the toggle switch, set the heat level by adjusting the dimmer switch, and then hold something like a lightbulb vape close to it, I imagine that would work.

By the way, anyone know what's up with the patent office's images? They seem to use quicktime, and they only load the top 2% of the image for me, it's exceptionally gay.
