new digi cam!

upgrading from my old piece of crap 3 megapixel slow as fuck hardly ever takes good pics camera..

Sony Cybershot 5.1 megapixel

yay.. this thing actually takes good pictures.. and there's not a three second delay when you hit the button
It's got an extra big LCD which is nice also

use the "macro" feature for up close pics like pic 2. that cam sounds nice.

Get as big a memory card as you can. It's amazing how quick those things fill up, especially with high-res photos.

Do you "honestly" take pics as high as 5.1 mp?

I have a 5.1 camera and just stick with 1280x1024 which is 1.3 most of the time.

You have to resize them for computer use anyway :shrug:

if you want good pictures ya... the higher the better....
