How does Agar's Myco Nitro compare to poo? I've was going to order some 50/50 from tenn stud, but I'm thinking about getting some of that instead. Also, where do I get the Myco Nitro, just pm Agar?

Myco Nitro is not available to the general public.  Im not agar, i dont represent him, so the best place to get information on this stuff is from the man himself :smile: 

Im sure the users who have had the luck of testing this substrate will chime in, i havent used it personally, but ive read and seen a lot of good results from people who have.

I see. I'll probably send agar a pm. Thanks coda. I would still be interested on any thoughts on the poo comparison from those who are lucky enough to have gotten their hands on some! Or of course, the man himself. =)

It has a more diversified nutrient base than h/poo. It contains a high degree of dead microbes, like fire fang, etc & has been supplemented with optimal macro/micro trace elements, minerals & vitamins. The fact is requires no pasteurization & is not PRONE to contamination, is also a BIG PLUS.

IMHO, it rates better than normal mushroom compost, which again IMHO does better than h/poo. So, I would place it #1, compost #2 & h/poo #3. But, I may be a little biased about the subject matter. :rolleyes:

BTW, at this time, it is not up for retail sale.
Come spring, it will be.

damn just another reason for me to want spring to get here. That myco-nitro is the shit. I like how it doesn't get contaminated. I will definitely be buying some of that this spring. One question agar, do you have any idea how much you're going to be selling it for? Thanks alot.
