Anyone trip to the Smashing Pumpkins?

They are one of my favorite bands, and I saw on Wikipedia they got listed as "psychedelic rock" I've seen them on a few avatars as well. Are they good for tripping? And what are the best albums for that?

Gish is pretty psychedelic but pretty hard rocking. I would assume Siamese Dream is good too. Machina seems like it could be cool, really deep and mysterious, but I wonder about hearing the part where he's like "I thought it was the voice of God talking to me, but maybe I'm insane" That might freak me a bit.

To be honest, I love listening to Linkin Park when high, specifically their Meteora or Reanimation albums, because I can then experience those albums more in depth.

Smashing Pumpkins are a trip, even sober...I am sure they are a trip tripping...I only listened to them on DXM...shrooming they would be so cool I am sure. They have some good tripping tunes, I would recommend them. :grin:

They put on a good show back in the day. Billy ran off stage puking during part of it and the rest of them just stood there ... :grin: he came back out like a trooper though.  :syringe:heroin

At the end they waited for everybody to clear out and then came back out and said "Now that the MTV kids are gone were gonna play some real music"  Then they just did an improv jam for like an hour.

Good show.

I dont think he was into heroin, didn't he kick Jimmy Chamberlain out of the band because of heroin?
