The media and people in this country have such a lust for exploitation and scandal that they (media)will plaster anything on TV based on unfounded allegations.......

How many pictures did you see of black people stranded, compared to coverage of WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED?

Well, when the media shows live coverage of New Orleans falling apart, of course they're going to show black people. Why? As your article says:

And just because more white people died does not mean that black people were not highly affected. Perhaps more white people stayed in their homes (as opposed to black people) as an attempt to protect their belongings and subsequently died, while many more blacks fled to the Superdome and survived.

If this fact isn't the focus of an entire episode of the daily show, then somebody over there is smoking the wrong things.

Personally, I think it was a government conspiracy to not care about poor people.

Except for the conspiracy part.

I think this is a good time for the poor white and poor black of Louisiana to get together, hold hands and recognise the fact that it's not the color of your skin that matters, but the color of your money and how much of it you have.
