Active Journals
    #5006223 -

The thing is, I think this list should work like the forums do - when a topic gets replied to, it should get bumped to the top of the list. I lose track of comments I leave in other people's journals and I never know if they replied.

Would it be possible to set it up like that, instead of having it just list them by the date and time the FIRST topic was posted?

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

It would still be the exact same Active Journals link...except replying to someone's journal will knock it up to #1 in the Active Journals list.

Brilliant! I like the journals, but haven't used them as much as I like simply because I don't get much feedback.. and feedback rocks!

yeah me too...

i'm ambivelent to :jewbot: suggestion...
one one hand i would like some more feedback on my stuff and as he mentioned some comments get "lost" and you just never know if they got replayed to...
on the other hand i'm afraid people will derail my jurnal entries
i would like to have the "power" to edit peoples replays in my jurnal incase anything get's offtopic or simply redundent...

just my two cents!

You do have that power, silly.

You have all the powers that moderators have...it's your own forum. You can lock a thread, edit a reply, delete a reply, whatever you want.

We can sticky, delete and lock all threads, and also edit the replies of people posting in our journals. Pretty sweet.

thanks, yeah, I like to add to my journals instead of starting whole new journal entries, kinda like a running thought, plus I like to check other people entries to see if they've updated their situation. So yeah this re-ranking is a great idea!

I like it...I like to have different threads for different mind states.

I don't know if this feature already exists, but it would be cool if we had a "friend's journals" thing, where we had a list of people whose journals we regularly frequent. Then I wouldn't have to hunt people down all the time.
