PA speakers...?

Im looking at buying 2 PV215 cabs. Im in an emo band and we play small to medium crowds but we use my friends system and we want our own but one we can afford. well i was searching one day on musician's friend and there was another PV cab but the only difference is it was 3- way and the other was 2- way. I dont know much about PA speakers im just all about guitars. They both have great reviews but whats the difference between 2 way and 3 way, and which one is better?
