Avoiding stomach discomfort when eating shroomz

Hi good people from the shroomery,
I wanted to know if any had some tips on how to avoid stomach discomfort. I don't usuall have problems (strong stomach) but the people I usually take it with do I had tried, eating something light before, empty stomach, full stomach. Putting stuff like camonille in the tea, eating them dry, fresh, etc. I had read that this is normal, but I will like to make the experience more enjoyable to them as sometimes they have to vomit to enjoy the experience.

Iv only had stomach discomfort once ive allways just munched em. But i know about vomiting the shit up. My second time i ate an 1/8 and puked it up. didnt really have a great time, But the body high was OUTRAGOUS.

I have only felt stomach pains well after the peak. Some ppl say it's myth, but it only happens to me when I drink milk around the time of ingestion.

for me the nausea and stomach discomfort ruins the shroom experience. i feel so uncomfortable while tripping.

don't drink or eat anything dairy the day you are eating shrooms. i usually have stomach discomfort on the come up every time, so i've tried many different techniques to aleviate it. the best technique so far has been to fast 5-6 hours before ingesting, and then using a good mushroom tea recipe for consumption. also had pretty good results with grinding them up and putting them in a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. anything but just eating them straight, that wrecks havoc on my stomach.

The only time I've had problems was when I neglected to eat all day. I like to have a small amoung of food in me when I ingest the mushies. Make sure your blood sugar is at a good level (drink gatorate or something similar) going into the experience. I haven't tried shroom tea, but it makes sense that it would minimize nausea. Just remember to drink it slow so it doesn't hit your brain like a mack truck!

Maybe try poppin some over the counter dramamine. Or if you can get your hands on it some promethazine its RX only from what I seen. But Ive found that dramamine can even stave off the nausea from MG seeds. It all depends on how awesome of a friend you wanna be and by it for them or just let them spend their money :smile: they're not expensive or anything though.

Do you ever feel like you have to be moving when you feel like that?


Before I ever bad tripped, I had not even the slightest notion of stomach discomfort. After that, the come up gives me a bit of nausea, and every now and then that feeling carries over to my peak... that's when tripping isn't fun.


Whenever I'm outside during the day, the stomach discomfort seems to go away, I'm too distracted by all the colours getting brighter.  :tongue2:

^^^yeah i remember one night outside of a concert having a smoke, singing to myself "gotta keep movin to stay sane" over and over. the security people thought i was nuts. it wasn't a bad trip or anything, i just felt like i HAD to keep moving. it just felt better that way.

I get bad gas. Seriously terrible farts. I usually take some gas-X or something like that. It helps. If it's indigestion, just takes some pepto bismol or something.

ok.. you wana hear the ultimate nausea bomb.. marijuana.. a friend and I ate 5 grams.. each ten total. and thats a shit load we made jello I suggest it just mix jello and add some powder.. not chunks.. so about 10 minutes latter when they start kickin we both smoked 2 bowls.. the last bowl took.. 30 minutes cause we just kept hitting. nothingness.. we were gone like nobodies business.. I puke everytime I tripp if I don't smoke.. but I've never ever ever puked while I was high.. had to quit smoking .. so I'm lookin up some stuff to prevent me tossing my cookies

Stomach discomfort caused by mushrooms a myth!?? Those things give me gut rot everytime no matter how small the amount, especially the indoor psilocybe cubensis, the natural cyanescens are a little easier on me but they still make it pretty uncomfortable in there sometimes.

knock on wood i have never threw up while eating mush, but i have felt flash nausia, that went away, but it came in waves as i was comming up.
the only other time was when i was looking at this big spinning disk pattern on my floor, then i was like 'uh, this is making me dizzy, i want to lie down'.
maybe some gravol (like dramamine).

I've usually had mild stomach irritation, but I never puked. Until one night I ate 8 grams. Powdered in OJ. The comeup was amazing, but way too intense. I started having convulsions and couldn't get up. It was like i was having seizures. I hope it was all mental, otherwise thats pretty scary. I ended up puking and came down pretty quickly after that. I've never tripped that hard before on anything. I don't think it was worth it though. If only the body load wasn't so high i could reach a new level. I've only been able to have maybe a level 3 trip with the amount of shrooms i can do before i get sick.

I tried 6 grams once but felt like crap and only had a lvl 3. Now i only do small doses and have fun instead of trying to see how fucked up i can get.
