mushroom tea (for lack of a better nomenclature)

Man, I was really excited to drink some damn mushroom tea this evening.

And I'm kinda ill that I'm not tripping any harder than I am.

Here's the deal.

I spent all goddamned morning at work. 9-5 (no break) by myself at a dry cleaners. well a dry cleaners attached to a fucking public laundromat that we have nothing to do with.

You're starting to get the picture.

So I downed 16g (fresh) in a tea using a generalization of ANY fucking tea recipe found on site. And for a while I had a pretty nice body buzz.

But I was also smoking a Banana Philly full of some outdoor headies.

So now, about three hours later, my buzz is gone.
And I'm kinda pissed.

Well I was pissed.

But I thought about some of the fun shit my girl and I had talked about for the last little bit, and I kinda changed my mind about it.

As much as I would love to trip balls, and see all kinds of crazy shit and just fucking flip,

I also just like being able to say what I want. Scratch that, what I FEEL.

I know I didn't consume a shitload, but lets face it, this is only my second experience with mushies.

I wanted visuals and mindblowing experiences, but what I got was some QT with my lady.

Its fucking hilarious how life works out sometimes.

Not a bad night.






But we decided to eat some of our drying specimen just for the hell of it.





On a sidenote I found this shit when I entered the wrong URL for the site on my way here. (I typed 'shoomery.org')

Like I said, life is fucking great.

Did you eat what was left of the mushies after drinking your tea?

Especially with fresh mushrooms, not all the goodies end up in the tea, and as you said, 16g fresh isn't all that much to begin with. If on top of that you happen to be a bit of a hard head, or this particular batch of shrooms happens to be a bit weak, (being a natural organism, there is some variation in potency from shroom to shroom)  you may end up with a disappointing effect.

For the next time, either up the dose, or alter your ingestion method. I once did both at the same time, and ended up tripping way harder than intended, which was educational, but very frightening.

16g wet isn't a whole lot. It usually takes me 2-3G's dry to get visuals....

in my experience mushroom tea is always much shorter acting and all around less fun than eating mushrooms.
