Kicking myself in the ass!!!

Well tonight was a great night. Lotsa beers and stuff with the boys, watched some movies etc. Just general shit we havnt done since high school.

So i left the party to walk home around 12:30ish and i always have to walk by a bar and the little shops nearby. Tonight there was a girl outside of one, looked pretty cold and shit but whatever. i was tired and wanted to go home.

I turned down my road but with every step thought more and more i should go back and see if she was ok. Eventually i did. She was crying pretty hardcore.

It turns out she had just broke up with her BF, and dude had been beating her up all night. She had called her friends and they were coming to pick her up but they were at least 20 minutes out of town.

She was absolutely FREEZING, so i lent her my jacket and gloves and chilled in a t-shirt. We talked about everything and nothing and she went from bawling her eyes out to laughing.

Her friends finally pulled up, and she gave me a hug. I sorta looked her in the eye and said "you know you can do better right?" She looked at me and said "Ill never forget this" and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.




Ive had troubles with socializing of late and the fact i had no problems with this girl was just mindblowing. Im kicking myself in the ass for not getting her phone # of email just to keep in touch sorta thing...

He does make a good point, it might have given her the impression that you were helping her for the wrong reasons, even though you weren't.

thats exactly the reason i didnt ask. i felt it would seem more like a pure good deed if i didnt. and that was definetly what she needed.

yea but she lives in toronto (half hour or so drive). So im thinkin she was there for her bf. She has friends in the next town over but i really dont imagine ill see her again! thanks tho des.
