Dinner with Mom
    #4957606 -

Lord I miss her.

God I love her.

it's so easy to forget how much you miss the people that matter the most.

She lives 15 minutes across the bridge in a neighboring borough of NYC. We talk on the phone everyday, but I never think to say hey let's have some dinner.

She came in tonight and we had dinner, it lasted longer than dinner ever seems to have lasted in the past. Never ran out of things to talk about. You learn so much about yourself by interacting with the source.

I am so drunk.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Ya know it leaves you thinking about all the years you were a snotty teenager being all snappy towards your mom, never wanting her to know what was in your heart...I dunno..I never knew I could talk about so much with her...she's a real person.

Ha, he's gotten a good touch for beats I'd say..that new song on the new album, "Only" is pretty fucking good.
