Ok, so it turns out that we timed it perfectly... partied at my gf's for a while (a few blocks from State St.) until about 11:30pm, then we went and saw the freaks out there, we left about 2:15am to go back to her apartment.

I hear that they got out the tear gas at 2:30am

PERFECT! The EXACT same thing happened last year, we left about 15 minutes before the rioting began.

Also, I think I may have seen snoot out there, but I was too far away to ask if the guy was from our community. I know snoot was planning on coming to town for the event. There was a guy wearing a jersey with "snoot" covering up whatever name was originally on the clothing.

Also, I saw the whole "Douchebag" costume in action out there...


Anyways, to sum it up, we drank a 1/4 barrel of beer from the local brewery, got dressed up and mingled with the freak, and we all made it back safely and without any arrests or citations
