He's just a person like any of us, only instead of a drug crowd he hangs with ultra-conservative types. So he says stuff that he knows that his core audience will lap up. Who here honestly hasn't done the same in the pub?

He got addicted to oxy because he's weak. He should be pitied. He's got problems. But I don't hate him.

I think the coolest thing ever would be if Rush started using mushrooms to help with opiate addiction, then started advocating shrooms.
