Yale Department Votes To Kick Out Noted Anarchist

Yale University's anthropology department recently voted behind closed doors to not renew the contract of a famed anarchist professor who has been critical of the unversity's efforts to kick out a student who tried to unionize graduate students. David Graeber; who has taught at Yale since 1998, appealed the decision and his efforts to remain on campus have touched off a letter writing campaign from professors around the world. (AP)

Unless he has tenure or his union is willing to do something about it, Yale is free to renew or not renew whatever contracts they please.
