i just bought an album. i like it. any other fans?? which is the best cd? i bought the newest one. :gd_icon:

i don't think i have any of their studio stuff, but have quite a few live shows. check out 'Old and in the Way' for some great bluegrass, and definitely watch the movie 'Grateful Dawg' if you haven't already!

You guys outta grab The Pizza Tapes by Garcia, Grisman, and bluegrass picker, Tony Rice.  It has some really nice folk/bluegrass type stuff on there, and the acoustic jamming is some of the best mellow music you'll hear.

I've been looking into getting the Shady Grove album, based soley on the Pizza Tapes' version of Shady Grove.

Pizza tapes is good and has many of the same songs as Shady Grove. But Shady Grove is more polished and I look for that in a studio album.

I have both "Grateful Dawg" as well as "The Pizza Tapes". I remember that Shroomery member #111202, KindKesey, sent me the latter, but I can't for the life of me remember which Shroomerite sent me "Grateful Dawg".
