Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself.

I went to the store after reading about you drinking the Oktoberfest beer to get me some, but all I found was Blue Moon Pumkin Ale. It is strange. Tastes like spices and pumkin(imagine that). It is okay, but I should have gotten regular Blue Moon, instead. :undecided:

This is in response to the very first post:

I'm drinking budweiser. I started around 2:30 (eight hours ago). Twenty minutes ago, I wrote the following (in my scrawling, dirty longhand):

Ignatius,

You're an addict. Keep it in mind and try to stay clean for the next week. Even if you start to reason know that it's true. You're an addict. Keep yourself in check and remember that you CAN get your mind back in shape, and your body.

Ignatius,

Isn't that FUNNY?

Hahaha!

Reason for edit: It's more entertaining than "M"

I know I'm drinking budweiser, but try some good beer every once in a while. Had some harpoon last night. Love the stuff.

And booze is wonderful. I like single malt scotch. Lagavulin...

Actually I really don't mind cheap beer too much.  I drank it so much when I first started drinking, that it has a nice sweet spot in my stomach.

That's why I prefer the good stuff. Fills you up quicker, in the body and the head. Which is ideal for lazy fall nights.

I like pale ales. Right now it's Elephant, Harpoon, and Wild Goose.

Nothing beats Guiness out of the can, though. Not even the bottle drought-flow...

I consider myself a nerd (American Splendor nerd voice).
