Should I report my own father?
    #4778760 -

So I met up with my parents today and we went for a ride in the country.

My dad is 70 (15 years younger then my mum) and thinks he's a raleigh driver, he's FUCKING CRAZY behind the wheel! He thinks everyone else is crazy on the road when it's really just him the majority of the time!

Anyway, he crossed this junction which is THE accident black spot in a 50 mile radius at 60 miles an hour when the red light at the crossing had been on for 3 seconds!!!

My neighbors father died on that same crossing a couple of years ago killing 7 people!

My mother and myself ordered him to stop the car and we walked 15 miles back home rather than get back in the car with him.

My mum doesn't drive but we're both seriously thinking about reporting him and having his license taking away...

Damn man! That sounds scary! I don't know about reporting him, though. He may turn bitter towards you. He's old. Just let him do his thing. He has been on this planet for this long. He must be doing something right, huh?

Its a hard decision...

One one hand, he will resent both of you for it.
On the other hand, he could get in an accident and kill a family tomorrow.

Its going to be hard for him to accept...

I'm pretty sure that he is referring to somewhere, in Europe.

Agreed.

IMO it's not right to report your own father for anything. Try to handle it within the family if you feel that it is necessary.

But he's likely to get my mother and others killed.

Shit, he hasn't even been capable of ordering a simple meal at McDonalds for the past 10 years....

LOL.  I think he meant his dad thinks he is a RALLY driver.

As in the race, not Raleigh, as in the city.

Just the total opposite of my dad. The slowest, safest driver out there. He does atleast 5 to 10 mphs under the damn speed limit. I hated driving with him when I had to go places.
