finding straw

i was wondering where a city boy could obtain straw. feed stores came to mind but is there anything else???

Walmart (decoration section)
maybe a pet store..
Hobby stores..
It has some decorative uses so think decorating. Garden shops....

i went to walmart and could on find timothy hay. im going to hit a garden store tommorow and if not travel to a feed store.

im thinking about ordering it from mushroom magic. it seems a lil expensive compared to the other hays i could find, but it is wheat. how much estimated is a 3rd of a bale?

i was thinking i would pasturise it myself by following oldtimers straw tek directions, but considering it will save time and my cakes are close to be done how much is the price difference?

1.00 for pasturizing per gallon
1.00 for each gallon of straw
and shipping goes up to like 6.00 for the first gallon and 50.per gallon after that
