Casino Versus Japan
    #4763131 -

While pre-ordering the new BoC album from Amazon, I stumbled upon another artist named Casino Versus Japan. I always say how it's impossible to put BoC into a narrow genre, but if you could, CVJ would be in there also!

It's not even really that they sound much like BoC, just a very similar atmosphere i guess. Very mellow, melodious and rhythmic... dreamy as fuck!

The album I got is called "Whole Numbers Play the Basics". I suggest y'all go check it out if you haven't heard this artist already already.

The person who got me into BoC also got me into CvJ, they're great, chill.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

great artist... their other album Go Hawaii is good also, but not as good.

If you want to be flooded by reverb, CvsJ is perfect
