steralizing the needle tip! improtant

hello right now im making my cakes for shrooms, using Brown rice flower and for the steralization of the needle, how do i steralize the needle without melting the plastic around it hence fucking the whole spore syrenge?

My friend didn't flame steralize his needles he just wiped them with 99% isopropyl alchohol and it worked fine

will hydorgen peroxide work good enough?? and do i just dip the needle in for like a min or so? what should i wipe it clean with?

wipe it cleaned with an alachol soaked paper towel. Wipe the needle inbetween every innoculation (4 times per each jar if you are following the mmgg method). And dont let the needle touch anything it shouldn't

That?s really an overkill.
If you flame the needle befor the inoculation of a batch(flame it preferably with an alcohol lamp, secons choice is a lighter), and then each after 3 jars that?s more than enough.

Providing your jars are sterile, that?s why it?s important to sterilize them properly(PC for 45 minutes or boiling(steaming) for 90 minutes.)

I don't think hydrogen peroxide would work very well. If you can get alchohol just steralize it after every jar. My friend poured some alchohol on a cotton ball then wiped down the needle for a few seconds then let it sit for another couple of seconds. It drys really fast. If you can't get the alchohol flame steralize the needle. Seeing as my friend didn't do this i can't tell you from experience but I think I red to do it till its red hot and let cool. Listen to anno and do it every 3 jars or whatever he said. He knows just about everything about growin shrooms.

now im heating up the water in the pot for the 6 jars i just made the substrate for. things are goin well so far =)
