Reasons for a stalled DT? (double tub)

Hey guys/gals... 2 weeks ago i spawned 3qts to 10lbs poo in a 58qt sterilite. 1week later i spawned 4qts same strain to another 10lbs poo in another 58qt sterilite. 4" each is approximate depth.

the 2nd dt is just about finished colonizing, like 95%, while the first one seems to have stalled at about 50%.

This is my first DT attempt and im pretty  :confused: on why this is happening. If its not contam related (i cant notice any from outside, scared to open and expose if unneccessary) is it still salvagable?

What are some possible reasons/solutions for a double tub stall?

my first thought is a contam that you can't see yet. second thought would be excess moisture. last and final though is maybe you can break it apart and use it for spawn it it doesn't recover soon.

The extra quart is probably what made the difference. Just wait it out on the first DT. Moisture shouldn't be a problem as most DT's do seem to stay very moist. Make sure that the polyfil holes aren't being blocked. The lack of air can stall the myc.

I'm not really seeing what you are. Maybe a little bit of cobweb. I would wait on it to see what happens and try to avoid opening it too much.

I often think that I have cobweb mold with my grows and 9 times out of 10 I'm wrong and things turn out fine.
