applied at KFC

well Im at college and I only got class 2 days a week, so I figured I try and get a job.

Well when I went to turn in my application at Mcdonalds the manager told me that this mcdonalds doesnt hire people with long hair, So I left.

Wendys, they never contacted me, or maybe I should have called them? I dunno how it works really.

Today I picked up an application at KFC, I hope I get hired. Im getting lazy and I need somethin to keep me active.

There is always unimart hiring for nightshift, but they get robbed alot. Thats kinda creepy, but if KFC dont hire, I just might have to do it.

yea they do get robbed alot, about a month ago i was driving by one and counted 6 black guys being hauled off by the cops haha

Always, always, ALWAYS contact the employer after submitting an application. It shows initiative, and if you don't, you'll more than likely not get a call. Call them within a week of applying at the latest.

Don't work in fast food, thats some crap. Go get lifeguard and CPR certs and got a job at your school's pool, or something else.

Dude try to get a job at a real resteraunt. Not only to they hire way more often without any application bullshit you just walk in and talk to the manager and your usually hired or theres something wrong with you. Not only that but they pay better even at the lower end like buss boy/dish washer and then when you move up which should only be like a month if you have personality you make $10-$20 an hour or more in a nice establishment.

i actually applied at hitchcox grocery store not long ago for a produce managing spot, around 13 an hour.  took the pee test yesterday, and i start work tomorrow

like it was stated above ALWAYS call back the employer.. it does show initive.. also when filling out an app.. never leave anything blank.. even if it doesnt apply atleast write N.A. or something.. it shows that you read everything and shows interest.. my dad hires people to work for his company and thats one of the things he looks at.. under wage desired.. write OPEN.. he said he likes to see that.. hmm if i think of anymore tips ill let ya know.. best of luck.. im workin for Hansons Home Services and Subway.. i couldnt be happier

god - i worked in fast food for 1 year when i was 15.
never again will i ever subject myself to that low ass horrible type of job again.

try supermartkets, way better and easier

because I cant make money by running around the block, and chances are I wont meet to many people either.

dont work at a damn fast food crap! college students can get better stuff than this believe me. There is nothing worse than a fast food [place. Even wal-mart is less ugly. Apply in an hospital, they have well paid part time jobs : laundry man.. maintenance.. ect.

+1 on grocery stores. Many of them are union jobs. Cashiers out here make 20 an hour, and you meet alot of cool people.

KFC might get a little rough man. I would say dress decent and hit the town. If you put some time into it you might be able to find a decent, good paying job. And something you wont loath after a month.
