A question regarding the buds I just got...

So the guy I got them from is now gone for a few weeks, so I can't just ask him.

Now this is suppose to be chron and I'm sure it's great stuff. He gave me 4 huge buds, they aren't as dry as normal, they are very very sticky BUT I can't smoke them...not well.

I break it up and put it in my bowl, but the damn things just will not light well. Needless to say I've only been able to get a buzz off it, no high.

Do you think I just need to dry out these buds more?

i'd personally put them in mason jars and cure them properly, but if you need some bud to smoke today leave it out for a few hours and it should be fine, but a little harsh tho

When you light the bowl hold the flame for a longer period of time.

I've smoked wet weed like this before, you just gotta leave the flame in the bud until it dries the water.

dont smoke wet weed, it burns to black charry shit.

Let them sit out on top of your monitor or somthing for a bit. I wouldnt jar up wet weed. It will mold.

Sometimes if people don't flush out the weed by just watering it and not giving it anything else for a few weeks before harvest, various salts and stuff remain in it making it really difficult to burn... maybe that's the problem here.

It'll still work and everything, it's just really annoying. You could always bake up some cookies if it really gets to you.

Well to be a dork here, if people water cured their funk like on the og forums then he'd be smoking gold... but I know where you're getting at, the old drench, dry and bag method... fucking god damn pirates.

But yeah, don't jar it quite yet. Paper brown bag it until you feel it's safe. The stem should be able to snap before you toss it in a jar. Make sure you burp the jar a few times until you're VERY comfortable (aka, feeling safe that your bud won't mold) and then burp it once or twice a day depending on how moist it is. Mmmm, nothing like properly cured bud. Just like any fine wine.

i also got some slightly wet weed today.. the brown paper bag works wonders.

Thanks, I'll get a peper bag tommorow, for now it's in a plastic bag in a cool/dry place.

dude, i say that you try drying them out and if it still doesnt work that you got jacked. . . im sorry if that happened, but if they arent that good just find someone who bugs you all of the time and sell it to them

That sucks. You just paid top dollar for some extra water weight. If you're tight with your guy I'd ask for a discount next time or something or find a different guy.
