Hey, i was watching the ricky williams 60 minute episode and i was suprised to find out what he was doing in his time away. He actually thinks like me and did what i had only thought of doing. He quit his job of millions per year, went to australia bought a tent *im sure had a ton of weed* and brought 30 books on religion the earth, people, etc and stayed in that tent for months on a 7 dollar a day tent rental sight.

I havnt found myself yet and im in my early 20s, i live in a separated small guest house from a relative for the last 3 years, and worked at jobs i hated and fell into the corporate world of bullshit to make the rich richer. I dont have a job now or in the last 3 months. I have turned down 3 shitty jobs and pissed off the people around me. A relative helped me get a car due to me busting my ass for years. I was making payments but quit 2 months ago. It was a almost new convertible BUT i took it back a few days ago now im stuck here in the middle of no where thinking even more of my downward spiral and what i want from life, and how am i going to get it.

NOW THAT YOU HAVE SOME INFO ON ME YOU CAN MAKE THE BEST ANSWER FOR ME
My question ........

Would me moving to the mountains of the poconos or a similiar area and do the following sound crazy...
1. Use the less of technology as possible,
2. Move in with a friend and his girl so i wouldnt have to work right away but find something that i like doing, or not work.
3. Income would be related to my hobby *something i love doing but am stressed in the current situation*
4. Start smoking weed again *havnt in 3 years It use to calm me down ALOT like medicine i have dissorders where i actually think to much and wocry. add etc.
5. Dont spend money on fancy shit
6. Have a few greenhouses with stuff to grow *i love growing stuff*
7. Eat some stuff from my garden
8. Snow board in winter and take surfing trips in the summer mountain biking etc.
ITS VERY LONG BUT OH WELL WHAT DO YOU THINK HOW DOES THIS SOUND

Not a bad idea, if you have the know-how. What some forget is that when growing your own food, it takes a while for the harvest comes in. Not to insult you or anything, but I've heard of lots of people who try to live off the land forget this simple fact, and starve.....

Of course i wouldnt starve or totally relie on the garden. Im not out to committ suicide just live a simple life and clear my mind of where the world is heading and the people in it.

That's good to hear you have a plan. I didn't mean any offense, it's just that I've heard of even well-educated people failing at this, simply because they didn't have a contingency plan. If you can pull it off, then I say go for it!  :thumbup:

If you feel the pull to do this, then do it. 

It's that simple.  It may be your soul telling you what it truly desires.  If you don't do this, you may always wonder what would have happened if you hadn't.

i was actualy thinking something along these lines (check out my post on a perfect living situation in my jurnal)

but it ain't that easy to pull off unless you have alot of money to start with and a very dedicated mood!

having your own garden needs alot of taking care of and indeed know how...
it can be done no doubt... just depends how bad you really want it and what you're willing to secrifice for it?
good luck though! i wish i knew what to do my self so i can't see why you should consider what i just said but what the hell... that's what we're here for :grin:
