thanks too all for the help, I innoculated today but went with the PESA and will try my luck with that. At least I hope that they are potent. again thanks for all the indisision.

I grew a 2L milk bottle with cooked rice, sterilised and inoculated with a Canadian Puerto strain.
Grew well, and produced incredibly strong mushrooms, like a previous post said, 1 mushroom more than sufficient, 1 2" mushroom.
The aborts were enough to put you on your ass, visually great and just left a smile all night. Did however have cool periods for lengths of about 30 min each where everything red.

Mazzies.....mazzies.......MAZZIES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by far the best visuals of the strains you mentioned.Strong visuals....tracers.. colors etc. Less body high......not that tied down with dumbells feel. A little racier.... speedier than most IMHO.

I'd say go for the Pink Buffalo's if you want mad visuals, but I have heard alot of people having problems getting them to germinate, and fruit. I have 1 syringe waiting to be cased, I hope it all goes well for us, and you!

Hi there,

I am a newbie when it comes to growing shrooms or even tripping on them...I've only tried them 3 times so far and all 3 times I never tripped. I used to trip off LSD often a few years ago and I'm concerned with your need to hallucinate.

If you find your dose isn't taking you past Level 2 or 3 experiences, keep dosing in small increments until you reach the level you're looking for. Just be prepared to accept responsibility for finding your own limits. Also, are you measuring your doses with a scale? Remember dosage revolves mainly around body weight, metabolism and blood pressure. This is true with all drugs. Just because your friend tripped his butt off from one or two fresh shrooms doesn't mean you will too. And vice versa...just because I needed a ten-strip of blotter to be "content" when I was into LSD doesn't mean every tripper should ten-strip. It's all about how comfortable you are with losing your ego and elevating your consciousness to a realm of no "self". Psychedelics are a great tool if you know how to use them.

PS - Why not try combining strains? Take like 4 grams total...2 of one strain and 2 of another...I plan on drying/grinding my mushies into gel caps and that way I can easily mix and match strains til I find a nice space. Same goes with hash...I like to mix and match.

if you havent had a good trip of cubes......then you might be doin it wrong. I mean i know that there are more potent shrooms out there....but in the right quanity and quality, b+ should send you to your transient other....if you want to go that far. and who wouldnt. but pink buffalos do sound interesting..

I think that these threads should be bumped from time to time to avoid the inevitable "What's the best strain?" questions. I'm still up in the air about the whole "visual" strain thing though. It seems to me that any strain becomes "visual" if you eat enough of it. Mushrooms in general never cease to amaze me and each trip has always been a little different for me depending on the setting, who I was with, music, etc.

We will NEVER have a definitive answer on what the best strain is. I just concentrate now on using a good sub (poo) and which strains I like for their GROWING characteristics, rather than their VISUAL ones. :smirk:
