maybe you guys saw the pics form my casing log in the pics forum, but anyway i had a casing that god greymold/greenmold/trichoderma on it. i picked some shrooms from it right before i tossed the casings, which were pretty much overrun with trich and a little green mold. is it safe for me to eat the dried shrooms that were on these casings? will trich/greenmold kill me? do i have to die at such a young age?

As long as the mold wasn't growing on the actual shrooms, i wouldn't worry about it at all. Now if you're planning on eating some shrooms that turned green, i would be wary of that. I doubt that trich can hurt you, but my guess is it might make your stomach upset.

Its all very obvious when the green hits your shrooms, then its not wise to eat them. Some of yours in the pic were hit but obviously you would have threw them out because they were going disgusting. Any mushroom that looks physically okay I would say you have the green light (pardon the pun) to eat safely. For the record I've accidentally ate trichoderma when it was on bread before (you can imagine my dismay when i realised) and not a single thing happened (not even choke, a calm settled upon me and I decided to forget it)

I ate a few B+ that had mold fluff on their caps with no effects other than the usual psilocybin intoxication - green mold is especially harmless - it is used in agriculture...But dont take my advice, go eat them and then die from an allergic reaction...
