New Trip Hop Track. Feed back please...

^^It's just a minute and a half. I just now need to get a vocalist to work on it, then I'll build more around her voice. [both of the vocalists I'm looking at are female]

If anyone has any feedback it would be nice since I'm still writing this.

Well I left it internally minimalist to accompany vocals later. I'll build from there, but I don't want to do too much on it till I get a vocalist to work on it.

I actually have started to have a policy of not telling people.

Sorry if I sound like a bitch about it...

But basically people start to look down on me because of the sequencer I use. Because no one else really makes anything good with it.

So I'm just not telling anyone anymore.

female vox would sound gorgeous... good contrast to the 'cold' steel-like environment of the perc.

I know what you mean about SW :wink: it's a shame people preconceive the value of a software because it might be easy to use. it's the music that matters.

I like it, especially once the beat kicks in. Although once you get some vocals I would try to add a little more harmonic substance to support the melody.

What I am planning is actually copying the note structure and orchestration of the initial loop and expound upon it in sample based orchestration programs. But I want to take the vocals in to account when I explore the note structure.

Actually the software I use is really hard to use. Hence the negative stigma, no one uses it to write good stuff. Think like Fast Tracker 2 or something, something that you have to MAKE it MAKE good sounds. It does nothing for you.
