it would be nice...to have an option button where you can click to see the whole thread if you wanted, and not just what someone replied to you.
can that be done?

yeah...but...some people dont check their email everyday...and when they do...the thread has already sunk down a few pages...its a beeoootttcchh having to search for the thread......it would be way more *convient* if you just added 1 little tiny link button...is that too much to ask?

I haven't used e-mail notification for a while, but doesn't it give you a link that goes straight to the thread?

well, yes and no...
it takes you to the thread, but you can only see what whomever replied, and what they had to say.

in order to view the entire thread...you have to go searching for it. and if you hadnt checked your mail in a week...searching for that thread can take a long time, especially if you are on a slow connection.

all i am asking for is 1 lil frikn button: "view entire thread"
how frik'n hard is that?
this is the "suggestions forum" last time i checked...and i recall reading this under the topic:
"Help us improve The Shroomery!"
..and all i get is: "I think if you want to read the rest of the thread then you visit the thread on the site."
how is that an improvement?
why is this such a problem?
is it because of somekind of advertisement / marketing/ publicity scheme?
why do i have to take detours to get point B, when it would be more convient and time efficient to go straight to point B.?


why is this such a hassle?

I think it takes you to showthreaded.php which only shows the one post. I will change it to take it to showflat.php which shows the whole thread. You can always click the Flat button to view the whole thread until then.
