alternative shroomz

I've recently discovered that there are many other shrooms out there that are not specifically illegal but containe psilocybin. Can anyone please tell me what are the best species to get that aren't illegal in the US. Any info would be great like which ones are relatively safe, which ones might contain the most trippy alkaloids and if there's any info the %of alkaloids although I doubt that info would actually be available.

Psilocybin and psilocin are both schedualed substances, it does not matter what form its in. If a mushroom has contains psilocybin then it's illegal.

There are is a mushroom called Amanita muscaira which contain ibotenic acid(legal) which changes to muscimol(also legal) when heated, but I hear the "trip" is a lot different, its more like a delerious rant... If that sounds like fun to you then read up on it at the Shroomery's main site under Amanitas or at www.erowid.org

The thing about Gyms, which makes them a grey area is that they look so different than most other psilocybin containing Genus. It can always be argued that they are edible "honey" mushrooms, to be used in soup. Nuff said.

are you sure they contain psilocybin? I remember reading somewhere that they didnt
