We all united somewhere along the line to create our society. We wouldnt have the technology we have today if it werent for individual actions...it would be square one if we didnt support eachother, wheather it be financially ect.

But could we unite and change our world for the better? No. Its not gonna happen.

The news is going to drive us all mad. Turn the TV off.

There are people out there that will help these people. Some are in my town and we are taking care of them.

Hopefully this will bring about some change for the good.

Defending her? I honestly could care less about Joan of Arc as a person; she was a delusional peasant. But when I thought of intense suffering, for some reason she was the first person who came to mind.

The only reason for suffering is cause and effect. Time continues on, and plenty of people will fall right under its tracks in the worst of ways. Some of us will only receive a glancing blow in our short stay in existence, but others will go out with quite a flash of light.

Really, I think there's no "reason" as most people intend it. I see no evidence of God, gods, karma, or any divine consciousness; it's all simply humans feeling the affects of entropy until our brains decay and we no longer exist.

No black people allowed in the 4th and 5th dimensions.
But seriously, nothings become of this world. Its the same its always been. Look at history, you'd rather live a few hundred or thousand years ago?

Without a doubt or any question I would rather live back then...

As a matter of fact back then people worked on average 3-4 hours a day to meet their basic needs. Yeah I guess they died a lot sooner and all but hell they worked a lot less, had little to no stress, did not have to deal with global politics, pollution, energy conservation, and etc etc... so you figure what side you would like to play on!

Oh... and by they way all they ever did all day was go hunting... fishing... have sex... and do drugs...

While I feel and 100% understand what you are trying to say... try explaining that statement to the founding fathers of Hiroshima... Because what happened in New Orleans was not man made.

Im not sure what your educational background is, but it is a well known and understood/documented FACT that the traditional hunter-gathering people of the past worked only 3-4 hours per day to sustain their daily needs.

Modern lifes sucks... lol

That's life.
We have technology now to make ourselves more comfortable.
The trick is making technology that is in harmony with nature.
We have to find the balance.

That is a totally unfounded statement... There were tribes living in total equilibrium with their environment before western thought came into play...

They would also die from simple wounds and basic diseases. Not to mention the potential for starvation, or getting killed by predators.

Why stop evolution? If you want go in the wild, go ahead, but the rest of humanity will continue towards an AI-ruled society.

Die from simple wounds...?

Ancient people had elaborate and sophisticated ways of dealing with minor wounds, infections, and basic diseases...

Starvation...?

The human race only ever experienced starvation when they switched from a hunter-gatherer type lifestyle to a sedentary farmer type lifestyle.

Getting killed by predators...?

Seriously this has to be your weakest argument... What race/nation/tribe/family... has ever been seriously threatened by a "predator" I think maybe you have seen to many movies to seriously believe that any "predator" on this planet can overcome a humans intelligence...

Actually, I'm probably thinking back too far; you're talking about what, a few thousand years ago?

trying to amend your basic argument with my plain statement of fact is very UNCOOL...

Human evolution is an ongoing theory... in no way is it an established fact.

You say... "Why stop evolution? If you want go in the wild, go ahead, but the rest of humanity will continue towards an AI-ruled society."

I can give you many reasons to stop it... ON ITS CURRENT PATH... And maybe I DO want to go wild, but it is currently not a viable option based on economic, political, and global circumstances...

The rest of humanity going on this AI-ruled society... WOW... you must be brain-washed to the hilt! I am scared... very scared if this is how the "next" generation feels...
