Why I love not having a Cell Phone

1) I'm too cheap
2) I'm not so busy that I need one
3) My friends don't need a blow-by-blow account of what I'm buying at the grocery store
4) I can actually focus on my driving instead of yakking on my phone to my buddies about who won last night's game or some other silly shit
5) Since they've become so popular, I view them with suspicion
6) I don't look all cool and trendy calling someone up every five minutes and giving a status report on my fascinating life
7) I don't annoy anyone with dumb ringtones at inappropriate moments

yeah I would really like a phone that just works when I need it. I can't and don't want to use all the other features. wait nevermind i'm off topic. Cell phones suck and i'm suspicious of em too. I especially hate it when my batteries die.

I'm getting sick of seeing fucking assholes at ballgames sitting behind home plate talking on their cell phones and waving at the cameras these people should be beaten about the head, neck and chest with boards studded with nails

They do indeed suck. I've never gotten one, mostly because I don't want people contacting me. Damn humans, always trying to follow me around or ask me questions; I hate being available for discussion 24/7.

I orginally got a cell phone because of a business I started. Now I am used to it. Sometimes it is annoying carrying it around. A lot of times I will turn it on vibrate when I am in line at the grocery store or some place like that. I never use it to just chat to my friends about stuff, that's what girls do. I will however, chat like that with a girl :smile: My service costs about $50/month, and my phone doubles as a camera and an mp3 player. I got it free, and it's the only phone I use. There are a lot of good reasons for having a cell phone. But I have to admit, I hate it when I see girls driving in their car, talking on a cell phone. I don't know why but I just do. What could they possibly be talking about? Just hurry up to the grocery store in the SUV your daddy/husband/some guy bought for you and get your tampons/makeup or whatever :wink:

cell phones suck alright, too expensive...and people dont leave you alone at all times of the day when you have one...the are annoying in fact, I had one a few years ago..constant people calling your ass all the time..

I had a cell phone when I had a real job. Even then the only people that called me, called me to piss me off or annoy me in some way at the worst possible times, i.e. - girlfriend calls to bitch you out while you are on a roof and its 30 degrees. then no matter where you are, someone can find you.. I hate that. Not to mention the rediculous bills. And what the fuck is there to talk about on the phone? Nothing but bullshit 99.9% of the time. It's like people that take cell phones with them into the wilderness because it makes them feel safer, and then they end up doing something stupid because of that false security, and their phone can't save them. Yeah. I hate cell phones except for when I need to use one which is like twice a year, and everyone and their brother and sister has one to use.

Oh, to be sure - there are some people who need to have one. For example, a businessman, a Doctor on call, someone in Real Estate, an attorney, etc. It just boils my giblets when I see some lard-ass welfare queen yakking incessently on one about what she's buying at the Dollar General, and I see that around here a LOT!

Anyone see that show on E! last night? It has all these spoiledass famous rich peoples kids on it with all throwin fits over gettin all their shit taken away. Namely, their beloved cell phone. One guy did need it for biz though. yeah but I couldn't watch it. I can't stand that snobby shit.

I had a cell phone when i was living with my last girlfriend...she adds all her friends on at the same time...it is good to have friends, but too many is too much for me all the time...I am used to smaller cliques of friends, I like to be simple..

i had a cellphone and i use dto sell drugs. I was a slave at all hours of the day.

People on cell phones don't bother me unless I'm in a movie or something. I use mine all the time. It's extremely useful.
