some guitar shit

recorded a few more musical ideas I've been playing around with to the computer

they're under the New Clips heading, recorded them all in about the space of an hour and a half yesterday, so they're pretty sloppy in places and the tone is kind of out of place on a few. I was just trying to get the basic ideas saved and didn't have time to make it sound as good as possible, so go easy on em :wink:.  anyway, if ya want to check em out, click below:

if you don't like distorted chug-a-chug guitar parts skip clips 1 and 2 and check out something else instead :tongue:, prologue and project 7 are all clean

never heard of those guitar ports, they look pretty nifty though.  I used a line 6 POD to record that stuff, but like I said, I was in too much of a rush to spend time dialing in tones, messing with equalization and whatnot, just wanted to get the ideas recorded.

Hey DH??I'm a drummer of ten years or so, and now I'm learning guitar... Your stuff sounds great, and I was curious??do you use up and down picking for the main riff on Clip 1, or straight down picking in 12/8? It's a bit too fast to play straight (but then, I've only been practicing for a little while), but when I try up and down picking, I don't sound like a machine (yet)??too loose, too many accents.

Just wondering, so thanks. And keep on rocking!
