I'm donating a door to the Shroomery

I saw a couple with a beautifully hand painted car this evening, and it inspired me to paint my car.

So...I'm donating the trunk to be painted by a friend's band.

I'm painting the hood. My friends are painting the other parts.

I want the Shroomery to paint a door of my car...so, please post any and all artwork, and I'll try my best to incorporate as much as possible into a door on my sedan.

Also, does anyone know what type of paint I need to use to paint a car? Or any special procedures for painting a car?

You can paint a car with plain spray paint, but you have to know how to use it....otherwise it'll look fucked up

You have to know how. It's pretty hard to do art with spray paint.

use an airbrush little painter and you wont regret it. you can use any paint you want pretty much. id recommend actually springing for some proper automotive paint. plus make sure you clearcoart it all or itll just flake off

look up airbrush. if you honestly wanna do it properly you need a pretty decent set up. lil air compressor and it pretty much blows particles of paint onto the door. it sorta gives you a very fine and smooth texture.

if you wanna do it hippy style any exterior paint should work for the most part.

no matter how you do it tho make sure you put a couple layers of clear coat over it or you;ll regret it

also it might be a good idea to practice on some walls or even a big piece of cardboard to try things out. Making something cool with spraypaint cans is harder than you think
