Contam or Myc? Pics inside

These are jars of parakeet seed (mostly millet) that  my friend inoculated with Creeper spores about 2 and a half weeks ago.  Signs of growth were spotted at the bottom of the jars less than 3 days into incubation.  As you can see, the color of the growth is slightly grey or off-white, contrary to the common "brilliant" white coloration of healthy mycelium.  All of the creeper jars are consistent with the pics below. What do you guys think? Myc or not?





This is a pic of a jar that was inoculated with Brazilian spores at the same time of the Creeper. Obviously, this jar is A-OK :smile:



For what it's worth, all of the above pics were taken in the same lighting and with the same digital camera.

Looks fine to me, case it and only time will tell...

Make sure your work area is very sterile, looks like you may have a bit to much moisture in there and that is why it looks questionable.

Should I continue to put the creeper and brazilian in the same fruiting chamber? I'm just afraid that if it's not myc, airborne spores may contam the brazilian casing. Note: I will be using a cool mist.

Toss em.
U notice its a really weak grey color.

They look fine to me.
Just case them and find the results for yourself. Toss them if you notice any sour smell.
