You're no better. Your mind may stay clear and excellent, but you will stray off course. PISS OFF.

Did you decide to hate the ego when you realized you failed yours? Or did you come to this conclusion through much philosophical ponderings?

Usually the first happens, then the second is used for justification.

Maybe he failed his ego because of a deep seeded contradictory belief that he couldn't explain until he started pondering philosophically.
