so who will be watching the shuttle land between 4am and 5am?

The shuttle Discovery is the first shuttle to go into space since Columbia fell to shit over half of north america. It's basically been experiancing the exact same problems that Columbia was, and there is a pretty good chance that it will fall apart too.

The strange thing is that when Columbia went up from the east coast of FLA two years ago my highschool science class in tampa stepped outside to watch the thin, faint, white jet stream of the rocket streak acrossed the intensely blue florida sky. We had no idea that when it came back down it would make countless white streaks, all heading in different directions, as it heralded the end of the shuttle program and confirmed the obsolescence of the aging spacecraft.

So now I'm battling drunken slumber as I wait for the Discovery to disintigrate on live tv (or live streaming internet news, since I have no tv) at 4:47am this morning.

Does anyone else care?

could say if you would be able to see it that far north, but if you can , it would be south.

I'm sure you could watch it on ANY channel that shows the news. Especially at 5am when the only thing being broadcasted is infomercials.

I meant in which direction as in North, South, East, or West... (which was stupid seeing as it is landing in FL which is south of here.. heh) and if it will be visible from here in NY?
