What are Blue Ringers?

Greetings everyone. Well, I went out with my friend and we picked a whole bunch of mushrooms which he calls "Blue ringers"

My question....could someone post an accurate description of blue ringers so that I could identify these ones I have? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

oh um sorry I mean, you can look it up in the shroomery of course, or jsut read this. they are brown and the y have gill s , white stem weak, hollow and watery. possibly blue ring on stemf rom veil. they look quite shroomiliciousfuck this shit

dude, dont take that as gospal! go to a book store and find stamas book on psychadelic mushroom hunting and identification. if you cant afford to buy it, try to identify it there.

eat them only if you are 100% sure!

have you gotten a spore print yet?

I just posted some stunzii pics yesterday, they arent excellent quality but they are examples of blue ringers. And actually a blue ringer specimen could either be the species ps stunzii, ps fimentaria or ps subfimentaria (or sierre). Of course you polly wouldnt be finding subfimentaria unless you were out in the fields looking for semilanceata (liberty caps) as they tend to grow along with the semi's.
