Hey folks! Look at how purple these are! Just found them yesterday...they are choice edibles...not magic sorry...but the colour is real killer on these bad boys...cooked some up for dinner with rice and chicken...mmmm good.

Heh well i dont know anyting about those blewits but they look pretty cool. Some good pics too. I am considering switching to a manual camera (i dont know shit about photography) so that i can get some crystal clear pics myself. Anyway good work and keep up that good work ehh

What part of the world are you from? What do they taste like? What was the temperature? What were they primarily growing on?

Hehe...I thought of the sexual conotations when I first looked them up too. They are really very tasty, they grow all over the place...these were found in eastern Ontario Canada, but as far as I know they are widespread...just check out the guide books. They grow on different wood substrates..these were found under oine trees in wood mulch. The temperature was mild..12 c. As to flavour, kind of like a cross between an Oyster mushroom and a portabella, but slightly different. The flavour really varies depending on what kind of substrate they grow on...real cool mushrooms.
