Quick Question about poppy tea :)

Hey quick question. Buying poppy pods off, let's say ebay(tm), and making the tea is essentially the same thing as smoking opium correct? Please correct me if I am dumb in this assumption, which I most likely am.

Don't buy poppies off ebay.... And yes that is manufactoring the drug.

It isn't the same at all although drinking the pod tea and smoking the dried latex will deliver some of the same alkaloids to your body. But the effects are quite different.
