Bullshit. you do not know how those murdered people were thinking. I say it is most likely that they were thinking illogically if they were killed.

Logic tends to bring in it's own, so logical people never need to be reeled-in crazily, instead simply easily re-adjusted as nescessary to suit the system....

You are dead wrong, they were killed for working with science or other things that went "against God". Science has almost always been put down by religion in Western religion.

Huh? Dude, people were getting killed for blasphemy. That means saying anything that opposed the bible.

If you said "Hey, maybe this bible thing isn't really what it's all about", they'd kill you.

Did you know that history is more than just what authors make up and put in books?

Interesting fact: When you go to the back of a non-fiction book, there's a section devoted to where the different facts and stuff came from. That way you can check them yourself.

This is because someone thought it would be pretty logical to set things up so that you can check and make sure all the facts aren't just made up.

Blasphemy is something that people have been persecuted for even relatively recently in our society! Nowadays, some theocratic countries still do punish people for blasphemy.

Why are there some people who are very happy, expressive, and creative who are also very skeptical? Could it be that questioning bizarre claims has nothing to do with other aspects of your character?

The memories of one person are not more reliable that the collected documentation of many about a historical period.

Even if that one person is me.

If other people can get things wrong, I can too. My memories are not more important or reliable than many other memories, ie. research.
