I think it is the same as gypsum, Ifso i think you could grind up some drywall. I really have no idea if this is right so help me out anyone

if you're in the states, Home Depot carries it in the ourdoor section, it will be in a small yellow bag.

>I think it is the same as gypsum Lime is calcium oxide - CaO Limestone is calcium carbonate - Ca CO3 (this is what you want to us in your casing) Gypsum is calcium sulphate - Ca SO4 (this one is used in the preparation of mushrooms compost and in preparing rye spawn) Read http://scifun.chem.wisc.edu/chemweek/lime/lime.html.

Thanks Anno that clear most of it up but I get all thosex calcium componds mixed up calcium oxide, carbonate, sulphate, cloride. So would it be wrong to put gypsum in casing, or just not helpful to prevent contams.?
