Oregon Seasons?
    #4457542 -

What mushrooms are in season (actives) in and around the Portland area.  I'm planning a trip up there to visit some people and want to check out the dense foresty region.

you aren't likely to find any, fall is mushroom season around here. it's hot and dry now.

dense foresty regions aren't where to find them even during season. it's a nice area though, have a good trip.

I am going near the Portland area too in a couple days. Are there really no actives in that area? What about the gorge on the way there (from the east). Like in the cooler Multnomah area in the lush areas? Are there just NO actives at this time?

I found blue ringers a few days ago in Seattle. It's possible, it's just not likely. The season doesn't start for a few more months.
