I was thinking ahead for next season because I just started this hobby recently. I have had freinds who go or have some/ know where to get some. I need a solid plan, a little more reading, and maybe a camera. Your advice is very helpful. I think maybe next season I will try to find some and if I enjoy it as much as I think I will, I will also start culturing. As far as Cyans in the PDX area, I'm convinced that they're out there. I've read in Stament's books that urbania is the best place to find common species. I need to develop a Mycologist's eye.

I've also seen white chips at some schools. I think it was David Douglas in east PDX. What park is that? You'll probably see me there next season staring at the ground like I lost my car keys!
