from what i read you have to have something like a game shark
or the PC version of the game
or a modded system with a hard drive
they say the mod didn't actually change any of the code, just made you able to see parts of the game that you couldn't before, like
"graphic" sex...

It's really nothing to speak of. There's a mod file for the PC version called Hot Coffee, whhich involves patching and recompiling the source files for the game. It basically just shows CJ and whatever girl having "barbie doll" sex. Not explicit at all.

Interestingly, it CAN be done on the PS2 version using Gameshark/AR.

haha... gta sa fucking rocks even more than i already thought...  whatever though, im not buying a game shark just to see that.. ive already beat that game too many times....

it is kinda lame though when your bangin a chick in it and they only show you the outside of the house and some voices... they shoulda made the sex just like the dancing and lowrider mission. where you gotta tap the correct button while its in the circle to get off :grin: 

fuck, this shoulda been in the game without having a mod.. they woulda sold a bunch more

i've been playing it since it came out (exc. a three month break) and i think i am at like 60 something% complete...
you are uber-1337...
but as far as it (sex) being in the game initially...
the thinking, as of right now, is that is was,
either as a gag for the programmers,
or as something that was initially developed and then later ruled out...
the person who made the "hot coffee" mod couldn't have added this code, he just made previously inaccessible code accessible...

naw, im not uber 1337 .... ive just played all the gta's so much that when i got gta sa i already knew how to do pretty much everything... and i didnt have a job, so i sat around all winter playing it :wink:.....

still havent beaten it 100% though.. some of them special jumps didnt work right for me though though... id go over it a million times and it wouldnt give me my money or check it off.. so i eventually gave up after finding like 67 out of 70

The article is a couple weeks old. This is pretty much over already. They changed the rating to AO, which I think it (and many other games) should have been already. Not because of this silly nude scene, but because of the violence that's already in there.

The crux of the bitching going on is that the video game industry agreed to monitor and rate its own titles so that government intervention wouldn't be imposed. M doesn't include graphic barbie doll fucking, unfortunately. Rockstar knew this, of course. They did it for the notoriety and sales; after all, bad publicity is good publicity. They probably thought they could argue that the Hot Coffee minigame couldn't be accessed in the game as shipped and would require intentional modification by the customer--hence not needing an AO rating.

The only thing this entire fallout will entail is stores like Target and Walmart losing somewhere in the vicinity of $50 million in sales because they want to be "family friendly." You'll still be able to purchase GTA:SA once Rockstar resumes production with the new rating or the minigame removed.

Of course, there's the entire question about why a small minority of idiots who believe that the government needs to babysit their own children for them should have this much leverage in our personal lives. But that's the land of the free for you.

The game already had been changed to adults only rating. Rockstar games is going to change some sexual scene and re release it. I played that game and it's like watching menace to society or whatever that old movie was where everyone gets shot up.

I love this kind of thing. This publicity will have the exact opposite effect on GTA:SA than what Clinton intends. This will only cause more people to check out GTA. The only thing that she can hope is that she can scare game manufacturers.
