Poker Tourney Rules
MaxBuy-In = 5000
Freeze-out (no re-buys)
When a player loses all his/her chips, they are eliminated.
For scheduling and contact reasons, this tourney will be played 5 players at a table.
This Tourney will be played on YahooGames.com.
If you wish to play, then sign up, send me a PM, and wait for you're game to be scheduled.

This Tournament will ultimately consist of a total of 20 players. If I receive more than 20 players then it will be 30. As I receive 5 players, they will be scheduled in for a match. The winner of each 5-player table will play against each other in a one table match.

Is it who has the most chips after x hands?
Is this Limit or NL?
Why not just do tourny structure with x amount of chips and starting blinds of y/z?

I just sent Tyl3r a PM suggesting that we change venue to pokerroom.com. We could play limit or no-limit there, and make sure everyone buys in for the same amount, which would make the 15-hands rule unnecessary. Just play for 1000 chips, then when someone loses, the site lets you refill to 1000 again. And it's just a java applet, unlike the other sites that require a windoze app.

I think that's a good idea.
That would require everyone to sign up. But they probably dont already have yahoo accounts...

I normally play on pokerstars.com, but I have started an account at this one that the tourney is in. I need to learn how to navigate it.
