hehe gotta dig the 'donor rap' that phil always goes in to. at bonnaroo '03, right as he was talking about 'being an organ donor saves lives' some fireworks exploded LOW in the crowd with a huge bang! i'm not sure if anybody got hurt (and hope not!), but on a head full of mushies, the irony was intense! :smile:

i heard that people with liver transplants usualy live a max of 10 years after they get it... dont know how true that is, but it's from a guy who's pretty knowledgeable about various things...

Ryan Adams is amazing. I can't wait to hear this show as well as tonight's from Red Rocks. Also, Bob Dylan is doing a webcast on Amazon.com tonight, so heads up.

I saw Rob Barraco on new years with the Zen Tricksters at the tribeca. I don't know if you guys are firumular with the tribeca but I could've reached out and touched him if i wanted to.

When Barraco played with Dark Star Orchestra, I was literally at his feet in the front row at the Electric Factory, while DSO played 5/8/77. It was AMAZING. He is a really talented keys player, and he can rip it up.

I also saw DSO in Red Bank, NJ at Count Basie Theatre. And Barraco played an amazing version of Mr. Charlie, just going nuts on the keyboard.
