working on the promotions side of things i have come up wiht an idea. in the spirit of helping people while getting out name out there, i would like to create a "Get out of a bad trip Free" card, in the style of the monopoly get out of jail free card.
i would like to keep a nice yellow background, and have the monopoly man still flying out of the cage, but with distorted eyes.. if anyone can design this i will be taking it to the admins and moderators to make aprovable text for the back side.
and if it is approved your design will be printed on thousands of shroomery promotional cards.

Sounds like fun. When would you need these done by? I'll definitely give it a shot, but probably not tonight. I'm going to crash out pretty soon.

Something kinda like this?
I'll make a better one later after some sleep, if the general idea is to your liking.

there is no gaurantee, but we are going to put some very re-assuring info on the back of the card
and shroompoddy i like it can you use a much brighter uniform color of yellow on the background?

zippoz, you're chock full of great ideas, this one gave me a healthy chuckle.

Do you think the cage is too busy? It almost reminds me of the chaotic aspects of a trip gone bad, but I'm not sure how it'll look in print. If you have any ideas, feel free to tell me.

wow i like that alot actually good job Shmoppy McGillicuddy, damn good job.
well now we have to think of the text that we can put on the back....
what do you all think.
im thinking that we should have somthing along the lines of "to overdose on dried mushrooms you would have to eat over a pound" "what you are feeling right now is an effect of the drug that you have taken" "You are not going to die, this will be over in a few hours" "try changing your setting, move to a different room, take a walk, try playing some different music to calm yourself"

All of those sound good, it might be best to make several different kinds of cards, each with a different helpful message on the back.
It would be great to be lost at a festival and be handed one of these cards. It'd probably make my day.

we could make 52 images like this, and put them on a word document. I guess about 8 per page. on the other side, would be playing cards. You could print them out, then cut.
Shroomery Playing cards
great for camping...
COLLECT THEM ALL (and email the .doc to your friends)
they would need to be a standerized size. mine are 400X200 pixels
