"Psytopia - Aug 17th - 23rd in Jamaica
Psytopia is a 7 day psychedelic festival for the mind.
From August 17th till the 23rd we will completely take over the Hedonism III and Breezer Bay Resorts for this amazing fundraiser.

The one ticket price includes your hotel, all the food and drink, 14 bands, 21 Speakers,21 DJs, Laser Shows, Snorkeling, Sailing, SCUBA diving, Circus School, and much much more."

All that stuff plus 5 comedians, 3 tattoo artists, an 18 hole golf course, ect ect. Shrooms and weed are legal in Jamaica (a shroom vendor will be there too giving a cultivation workshop). If two people split a room it would cost $950 per person not including airfare. I found rountrip tickets for $400 from Atlanta. I really want to go, but all my friends around here are broke. It would be a great event to take a girlfriend but I don't have one. I'm gonna sit on it a week before deciding anything.

When someone first showed me the link to this 3 weeks ago I was floored by how cool this event was, so I contacted the guy running it and got his banner up here to hopefully get more people going so that there will be one next year and I can go for sure lol.

Seriously these are kick ass resorts too, this is such a cheap price for what this event is.

Wish I could make this years  :frown:

Yea I was wrong, cannabis is illegal in Jamaica but it is still widely popular. Law enforcement is inconsistant with weed.

If I do go, I plan on returning with a report and pictures. If I can't find anyone to go around here I might be willing to split a room with a fellow shroomerite. It's much more expensive to room by yourself.

solely the opportunity of getting tattooed by such a legend as filip leu is worth going to that festival...  :thumbup:

and if you add all the rest to that equation... man! that looks like something i wanna attend...

This is the only time I've ever seriously considered a tattoo.  I wonder if they'll have the sanitary precautions under control...they should, these guys are not just pros, but the best!

Is it asking for trouble to bring a pack or 2 of papers or blunt skins into Jamaica?
